Five Florida Corn Mazes Within an Hour of Orlando That Cost Less Than Lunch

Florida does not get a real fall, but it does get corn mazes, and some of the best ones sit a short drive from Orlando. Farms in Lake, Polk, Hillsborough, Osceola, and Orange counties turn their fields into autumn playgrounds with hayrides, pumpkin patches, and paths that twist through tall stalks.

The best part is the price, since a ticket at most of these spots costs about what you would spend on a burger and fries. Here are five farm outings worth planning around, each with its own reason to make the trip.

1. Great Scott Farms, Mt Dora, FL

Long before it had its current name, this Lake County farm was known as Scott’s Country Market and Scott’s Maze Adventures on Long and Scott Farms. Plenty of Central Floridians still call it by the old name out of habit.

Today Great Scott Farms brings together a country market, fall festival, pumpkin patch, homegrown produce, and a corn maze at 26216 County Road 448A. The market alone makes the stop useful, with fresh produce at fair prices that can turn a fun outing into a grocery run too.

Mt Dora sits roughly 35 miles northwest of downtown Orlando, about a 35 to 45 minute drive using FL-429. Parking is free, and dogs are allowed inside, which is a nice perk for families who hate leaving the pup home.

The farm is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed Mondays. Saturdays fill up fast, so I would save this one for a weekday if your schedule allows.

2. Harvest Holler Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch, Polk City, FL

Cobbler is not the usual reason people head to a corn maze, but Maw Maw’s Country Store makes a strong case. Pair it with something from Paw-Paw’s Vittles and a cup of Southern sweet tea or lemonade, and lunch is handled right on the farm.

Harvest Holler calls itself a real working family farm, and the activities back that up. Guests can take a hayride to see farm animals, feed cattle, try an old-style water pump, or swing from tire swings between laps through the maze.

The corn itself has had ups and downs over the years, but recent seasons brought a full field and a maze that ranks among the best in Polk County. That is a big deal for a crop that does not always love Florida weather.

The farm sits at 950 Tavares Road in Polk City, about 45 miles southwest of Orlando via I-4. The 2026 fall season runs September 18 through November 8, Fridays 4 to 8 p.m., Saturdays noon to 8 p.m., and Sundays 1 to 5 p.m.

Parking is free.

3. Fox Squirrel Corn Maze, Plant City, FL

Twelve dollars. That is the admission at Fox Squirrel, and it covers the corn maze, the hay ride, the games, and parking.

For the price of a fast food combo, you get a 5-acre maze that leans toward the challenging side. Younger kids can stay busy with games, a playground, pumpkin painting, face painting, and petting goats.

Vendors set up around the grounds, and their goods can run a little pricey, so budget-minded families may want to bring snacks or set a spending limit. The pumpkin patch rounds out the fall festival feel.

You will find it at 6151 Varn Road in Plant City, along the I-4 corridor about 55 to 60 minutes from Orlando. Hours are Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., which makes it an easy weekend plan if you are already heading toward Tampa.

4. Partin Ranch Corn Maze, Kenansville, FL

Out in the cattle country of southern Osceola County, Kenansville feels a world away from theme park traffic. Partin Ranch makes good use of all that open space.

The list of activities here runs long. Think corn mazes, a corn pit, hayrides, a combine ride, pony rides, bounce activities, a petting zoo, and a pumpkin patch, plus a general store, food trucks, and local vendors.

I like this stop for kids who need more than one maze to burn off energy. The combine ride, in particular, is not something you see at every fall farm.

The ranch is at 5601 N Canoe Creek Road, roughly 50 to 55 minutes from central Orlando via Florida’s Turnpike and Canoe Creek Road. It is open Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with free on-site parking.

5. Club Lake Venue, Apopka, FL

Most of the year, Club Lake Venue is busy hosting weddings in its rustic outdoor ceremony spaces. Come fall, the same grounds switch gears for a family festival.

The seasonal event features a corn maze, a hay ride, and a sand pit, along with wide open spaces where kids can run freely. It is a smaller, simpler outing than some others on this list, which suits families with little ones.

Location is the big selling point. The venue sits at 3403 Rock Springs Road in Apopka, about 20 miles northwest of downtown Orlando and roughly a 30 to 35 minute drive.

Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., so call 407-886-1077 to confirm festival dates before heading out. Restrooms and on-site parking are available.
