Where to Eat in Sunriver, Oregon Sunriver Oregon attracts nature-lovers and families for its outdoor activities and peacefulness more than its food, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t plenty of dining options in Sunriver. In fact, we were overwhelmed with the number of choices of where to eat in Sunriver and didn’t have time to sample them all.Where to Eat in Sunriver1. Sunriver Brewing Company — Sunriver Brewing Company is a brew pub located right in Sunriver Village Mall, offering pub food with an upscale twist and serving its own craft beers. I tried their Fuzztail Hefeweizen and loved it. The inside of the restaurant is trendy and lively, with indoor and outdoor seating. They don’t take reservations and this is a popular choice so go early and/or be prepared for a wait. We tried the Saucy Wings appetizer (the buffalo is nice and spicy), the burger (juicy and great skinny fries) and the crab and artichoke melt (ok). It is a fun atmosphere for groups but also suitable for families. Enjoying a Fuzztail2. Zeppas Bistro — located in the Lake House of the Caldera Springs community and open in the summer, the main attraction at Zeppas is the view. It is situated with an amazing view of Mt. Bachelor across Obsidian Lake. The Bistro itself is more of a cafe, where you order at the counter and receive a pager to let you know when the food is ready. There are a few tables inside but there are a number of tables outside where you can sit and enjoy the view and the sunset. Zeppas offers pizza, a few pastas, paninis and salads, along with beer and wine. You can also purchase a s’mores kit that you can use at the outdoor fire pit or fireplace. When we visited there were many families kicking off their vacations in a casual, comfortable style. Just keep in mind that Zeppas only serves food until 8pm. The view from Zeppas Bistro3. Cafe Sintra — named after a town in Portugal, Cafe Sintra offers breakfast and lunch options with a Portuguese flair. You order at the counter, grab a table, and they bring you the food when it is ready. We tried the Bacon Benedict, with some absolutely delicious slices of thick cut bacon, and the Spinach Egg Crepe, and both were great. This modern bistro offers a cool bar and indoor and outdoor seating, just minutes from Smith Rock so you definitely don’t need to be dressed up — we saw plenty of people that had just got done climbing or hiking, including us! We tried the PBLT (Pork Belly Lettuce and Tomato) and cheeseburger and both were fabulous. Pork belly lettuce and tomatoWhere do you like to eat in Sunriver or Bend Oregon?
